From another source, I get:
Financial costs vary considerably from one person to the next but these are some of the daily expenses you should budget for:

Food
The monthly food budget is between €150 and €250 a month.

A monthly travel card costs around €136.90 in Paris.

The minimum payment required to have Social Security cover is €186 a year.

Going out
A cinema ticket costs an average of €9 (€7 for students). A soft drink in a café costs around €3.50.
A meal at a restaurant costs at least €10, often more like €14 to €17.

All shopping areas in French cities have clothes shops catering for all tastes and budgets.
However the best prices are normally to be found in department stores, both specialist and other,

For perfumes, there are shops called Marionnaud that you can find everywhere in Paris.
Here's the link to their site: marionnaud

As you can see, a Dior or Hermès perfume never costs less than 50 euros.
For a tee shirt, you must count between 20 euros at H&M (a cheap brand that teenagers like because i is very fashionable) and 40 euros at Zara (a brand that young female workers like because they can fin suits and "elegant" clothes to go to work).
If you shop a the Galleries Lafayette or at the Printemps, famous parisian shops where you can find al the famous clothing brands you see in the magazines, everything will be very expensive. A Tee shirt will cost something that 50 euros at least. If not more.
A pair of jean's costs at least 50 euros in cheap shops and a pair of Levy's jeans will cost more than 100 euros.
French people who work in a factory earn 1000 euros when they are lucky. Many don't eanr that much. Women who work in a supermarket earn 800 euros. A school teacher after 10 years earns 1600 euros. A journalist in "wrtitten press" after 10 years earns between 2000 and 2500 euros. A journalist working for TV earns much more, between 3000 and 3500.
Life is VERY expensive in Paris. For a sandwich with coke at lunch, it will be 5 to 7 euros
